Who we are
iP Tec Solutions LLC is a managed IT and cybersecurity firm headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information from people who visit iptecsolutions.com or get in touch with us through this website.
This policy covers the website only. When we sign on as your IT or cybersecurity provider, a separate Master Services Agreement and Data Processing Addendum govern how we handle your business's data.
Information we collect
When you contact us through the website
Our contact form asks for your name, work email, company, optional phone number, employee count, industry, what you're looking for, and a short message. We collect this so we can respond to your inquiry and route it to the right person on our team.
When you simply browse the website
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics may collect your IP address (which we configure to be anonymized), the pages you visit, how long you stay, what you click on, and basic information about your device and browser. We do not use this information to identify you personally.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form to tell humans apart from bots. Turnstile collects minimal technical signals from your browser to perform that check.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically logs basic request information (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and operational reasons.
How we use your information
- Respond to your inquiries and follow up about your needs.
- Send you business communication relevant to what you asked about. We don't send mass marketing.
- Improve the website and understand what content is useful.
- Protect the website and our infrastructure from abuse and attacks.
- Meet our legal and tax obligations as a business.
We don't sell your information. We don't share it with advertising networks. We don't use it for purposes other than the ones listed above.
Who we share information with
We use a small set of trusted service providers to operate the website and handle inquiries. They process information on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy commitments:
- GoHighLevel — our customer relationship management (CRM) system. Information you submit through the contact form is sent here so we can track and follow up.
- Resend — our transactional email service. We use it to send our team an email notification when you submit the contact form.
- Google Analytics 4 — web analytics. Aggregated visitor information only.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot defense on the contact form.
- Vercel — our website hosting provider.
We may also disclose information if we're legally required to (for example, a subpoena or court order), or if we need to protect our rights, our property, or the safety of others.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies, mostly through Google Analytics. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using the site, but some analytics features may not work.
How long we keep your information
Contact form submissions are kept in our CRM and email systems for as long as we have a business relationship with you, or for up to seven years after our last interaction, whichever is longer. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention settings (currently 14 months). Server logs are retained for a shorter period for operational purposes.
How we protect your information
The website is served over HTTPS with modern security headers. Our contact form is protected by bot defense and rate limiting. We follow recognized security frameworks (NIST CSF 2.0, SOC 2) in how we run our own systems — because we wouldn't feel right asking clients to do what we don't.
That said, no system is completely secure. If we ever experience a breach that affects your information, we'll notify you in line with applicable law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information — including the right to access it, correct it, delete it, or ask us to stop using it for certain purposes. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@iptecsolutions.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We'll respond within 30 days.
Residents of California, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and other states with consumer privacy laws have specific rights under those laws. We honor all valid requests.
Children's privacy
Our website is intended for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be communicated more visibly.
